Seepje

Seepje is an organic laundry detergent with all-natural ingredients. The Nepalese Sapindus trees bear the Sapindus mukorossi fruit, the peel of which turns soapy when it comes into contact with water. Consequently, the trees are not logged for firewood, but nourished (for their fruits), which guarantees environmental conservation.

Furthermore, harvesting the fruit is a fair trade process: the Nepalese farmers and their workers get a fair wage and structural improvements are made to their living and working conditions.

The organization Siza is responsible for packaging the peel. Siza employs people with physical and/or mental disabilities.
