Unmade (previously called "Knyttan") a small design studio based in London’s Somerset House, wants to bridge the gap between designers and consumers by giving clients more options to choose from.

Unmade allows everyone to design his or her own 100% Merino wool jumper or scarf. Thanks to the studio’s industrial knitting machines, the requested designs are done in just a couple of hours.

The pieces are different every time, even though the way there are made never varies. Unmade wants each item to be unique, and the brand prefers to make this happen in a sustainable way.

Because the design can be personalized by the client, every piece is produced on demand, which means there is no overstock.
