O’Neill has been complying with BSCI regulations for corporate social responsibility ever since. After the Rana Plaza collapse, the surf brand also signed an international agreement to guarantee the safety in Bangladesh’s factories. The O’Neill Blue collection consists of sustainable surf wear made from recycled plastic or ‘Bionic’ fibers. The very first collection was made from approximately 200.000 plastic bottles collected on shorelines and beaches worldwide.
