Waste2Wear

After years of diligent research, Vision Textiles has managed to come up with an inventive technology to reduce the textile industry’s environmental footprint, namely: turning plastic waste into pretty clothes. Its subsidiary label Waste2Wear, which produces school and work uniforms (and whose name is a bit more explicit in its eco-mindedness), is also keenly exploring the possibilities of PET bottles. These bottles are recycled into yarn and combined with natural fibres. This ‘newly constituted family’ is subsequently woven or knitted into 100% environmentally friendly fabrics which can be used for clothes, household items and accessories.

Waste2Wear wants to do even more than turning plastic into textile (products), enabling its customers to return their uniforms so they can enjoy a second life somewhere else.
