It should come as no surprise that we have two Danes to thank for a brand that manufactures rainwear that’s not only sustainable but also extremely stylish. After all, Denmark has about 120 rainy days per year. Rains founders Philip Lotko and Daniel Brix Hesselager don’t let that get them down. Quite the contrary! ‘Let it rain’, they think, because that’s when their minimalist raincoats made from recycled polyester conquer the streets.
It all started with an iconic rain poncho, but the brand has expanded its focus to rain pants and accessories such as hats and bags (for both men and women).
The fabrics that Rains uses are Oeko-Tex certified and regulated by REACH. In addition, the brand attaches a lot of importance to quality and craftsmanship, which is why it teamed up with a factory that has been perfecting the production of rainwear for the last fifteen years.
