Sé-Em by Charlotte Mounzer: it’s quite a mouthful. Yet the basic principles of this Belgian brand are fairly easy: zero waste and circularity. To make sure these two adjectives continue to apply to her label, designer Charlotte Mounzer has been doing her tour of the Paris fashion houses since 2019, looking for fabrics that are gathering dust. She worked for one of the big French luxury labels herself, back in the days, which is when she became aware of this bad habit of ordering way too much fabric. Now she turns these unwanted lovelies into capsule collections that are both classic and avantgarde. Mounzer honours her father’s country of birth by producing her women’s and men’s clothing in Lebanon.
