Next to the use of sustainable fabrics, Cees n Co translates its desire for sustainability into a focus on the product’s longevity and its possibilities for reuse. This is why Cees n Co gives its clients the chance to return their shirts within three years after purchase. In return, the client gets a 15 euro deposit refund. If the shirt is still up for a second life, its labels are removed and then it’s off to the second hand market. If a second life is not an option, labels and buttons are removed, and the shirt is turned into a resource for new products.

Once the three-year term has passed, the client loses his right to the refund. The money is then donated to Terre des Hommes, a charity involved in projects to root out child labor in Bangalore.
