Tom Cridland was founded in 2014, boasting the motto ‘quality over quantity’. In 2015, Cridland launched a project with the promising name ‘The Thirty Year Sweatshirt’. The idea was to make a piece of clothing that would last thirty years, which runs directly counter to the laws of the predominant fast fashion industry with its planned obsolescence.
