Carpet of Life, a fair design brand based in Ghent, gives you the chance to turn your old clothes and fabrics into unique floor and wall carpets.

The manufacturing process is honest and transparent, and it is taken care of by women in Morocco. Together with the client, Carpet of Life explores the various possibilities for the carpet’s design.

Next, the fabrics are sent to the south of Morocco, where a team of 50 women transforms them into a unique carpet. Carpet of Life puts a lot of weight to the region’s traditions and craftsmanship, both of which are preserved thanks to the brand’s projects, as well as to the creative potential that they put to good use.
