Ace & Jig, whose designers value style over trends, is synonymous with comfy women’s clothing that can be worn in many ways and for many years. In 2009, the brand decided to create a seasonless women’s collection from natural, hand-dyed and hand-woven fabrics, celebrating their unique textures, colours and patterns.

Their search for the perfect manufacturer led Ace & Jig all the way to India, where they got in touch with textile experts who work magic with their ancient, wooden hand looms. To this day, the team returns to India at the start of each new season, working one-on-one with its weavers to create their authentic fabrics and to make sure their living conditions are comfortable. For instance, Ace & Jig provides free childcare and uses reclaimed water to grow organic veggies for its employees.

Though Ace & Jig does not hesitate to experiment with colours and silhouettes, the stripe plays a huge role in each and every collection. The designers honour the yarn-dye stripe as a timeless icon that’s an endless source of inspiration and innovation.
