NIYONA, a Belgian design and production studio that specializes in fine leather goods, was founded in 2010 by Nina Bodenhorst and Jonathan Wieme. Bodenhorst, who is officially recognized as a craftswoman by the Belgian government, has been loaded with awards, like UNIZO’s “Handmade in Belgium” label.

NIYONA makes an effort to meet the individual wishes of her customers, creating unique and personalized items for every one of them. In other words, the entire creation process revolves around human relations and dialogue, though innovation is also a top priority for Bodenhorst and Wieme. All the NIYONA magic happens in the brand’s own studio in Brussels, from design to production, though their leather is sourced from local tanneries that work sustainably and deliver traceable skins.
