Jungmaven

Robert Jungmann, the driving force behind Jungmaven, used to camp in the woods of the Pacific Northwest back in his student days, seeing with his own eyes the damage brought about by clear cutting. He discovered hemp could help combat deforestation. In contrast to trees, which take decades to regrow, hemp is back on its feet in a matter of months. The plant purifies ground water, anchors the soil and produces oxygen, all the while taking carbon dioxide out of the atmosphere. And the best part is: you can use it to make beautiful clothes!

Jungmaven T-shirts, sweaters, dresses and shorts are synonymous with sustainability. After all, the hemp they’re made from requires no irrigation, artificial fertilisers or pesticides to grow lush. In addition, all garments are cut and sewn by hand in Los Angeles.
