There are a few no-effort options to reduce the environmental impact of your printing. Keep these quick wins in mind:
-
Print only when necessary and use an ink-efficient (recent) printer.
-
Go for recycled or unbleached paper (paper with an FSC-label is certified as having come from a responsibly managed forest).
-
Change your default settings to double-sided printing.
-
Use the ecofont (which saves ink by leaving small holes in the letters).
-
Go for a small, thin font in your branding (Calibri, Verdana & Arial are ink-efficient fonts).
-
When you order printing, ask for plant-based ink.
-
Reuse paper that only has print on one side and that you no longer need (e.g. as scrap paper).
